SHIP offers child care scholarship assistance to low-income Woodbury County families. To see if your family is eligible, find your total household income on the chart below (Federal Poverty Guidelines).
If your family qualifies, call any of the quality providers listed below and ask if they have any SHIP scholarship slots available. Each provider will work with you to determine your eligibility and amount of assistance.
Children must be 0-3 years of age and family’s income must fall between 145-185% of the federal poverty guidelines to qualify (please see downloadable document, Federal Poverty Guidelines).
Additionally, both parents must be working full-time (40 hours per week), going to school, or a combination of both.
Families must present evidence of income (ideally 2006 or 2007 income tax statements, or multiple pay stubs) to providers.
